Wild Roots is a garden maintenance business based in Carlton, Melbourne, offering weeding, planting, watering, pruning, trimming, mulching, propagating, tidying up of vines, leaf clean up, minor plant and root removal, soil improvement, fertilising and general tidying up of your garden.

Wild Roots also offers consultations, planning and landscape design, as well as regular and routine work.

Meet Ayla

Your gardener, Ayla Buckley, has been gardening since she was a kid. She is passionate about everything to do with nature.

She works well with routines and can stay driven in whatever tasks she does. It makes her happy to know someone has enjoyed something she has created. She is reliable and has proven to be an efficient, dependable and capable worker. She enjoys all things hands on and creative, especially in a garden.

Ayla has experience working at Rivera Garden Centre in Paynesville, where her tasks included hard labour digging soils and mulch, raking, sweeping and watering, preparing plants/seedlings for Landcare and learning how to care for and identify different plants. She has recently completed a Floristry Course at the Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre.

Rates

General Garden Maintenance: $50 per hour

Pruning: $50 per hour

Planting: $50 per hour

Mulching/Soil Improvement/Fertilising: $40 per hour

Weeding/Trimming/Garden Tidy-up: $40 per hour

Watering: $40 per hour
 

Extras - please ask for a quote

The following will require a quote, depending on the amount or length of time:

Buying plants, mulch, fertiliser etc; removal of any garden waste, depending on tip fees; consultations, planning and landscape design.
